Yes, brokers using the Convoy Platform remain the broker of record for all of their loads. As the broker of record, you maintain the direct relationship with the shipper and carrier and are responsible for all aspects of the customer relationship and shipment fulfillment.

  1. The broker’s loads are posted to the Convoy Platform at no charge.
  2. The broker sets the max pay for their loads, and the platform automates bidding based on real-time market data.
  3. Carriers view the loads in the Convoy app and place bids.
  4. After winning a bid, the carrier confirms the load and signs an agreement.
  5. The broker manages the shipment while the Convoy platform provides GPS tracking and updates.
  6. Upon completion, the carrier uploads the required documents in the app.
  7. The broker approves payouts, and carriers are paid within the selected timeframe.
  8. The broker pays the Convoy Platform within 30 days.

The Convoy Platform currently supports single-driver, full truckload dry van and reefer freight. New types of freight may become supported in the future.
